Our Mission
Branch & Bay Design Studio was founded on the belief that creativity can truly change the world.
With the effects of climate change, environmental destruction, and social issues become increasingly clearer, our founder knew that it was time to use the power of design for good.
We provide branding, design, and marketing support to
Eco-Changemakers who are making an impact on people and the planet. Our aim is to empower sustainable brands to amplify their message, and ultimately be part of making their vision for a brighter future a reality. And we hope to spread a little joy and inspiration along the way!

about Sarah
Hey there fellow nature-lover, I’m Sarah! Thanks so much for checking out Branch & Bay Design Studio.
Environmentalists are some of the kindest and most passionate people on the planet, and it is a joy to get to work with leaders like you on a daily basis. Ten-year-old me would be pinching herself! As a kid, I started an environmental superhero club where I designed outfits and personas for every member. As a teen, I planted over 2,000 trees in Virginia Beach and Haiti. I’ve always felt a pull toward taking environmental action in a way that blends creativity and strategy.
I hold a B.A in Environmental Studies from Virginia Wesleyan University and a Graduate Certificate in Graphic and Digital Design from Parsons School of Design. My background in working with non-profits has allowed me really get to know the challenges and needs of mission-driven organizations. It’s what has informed my approach to designing for sustainable brands with Branch & Bay.
I’m originally from Virginia, living right by the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay. That gorgeous landscape is what inspired the name for this design studio! I draw my creative energy from the beaches, groves, and waterways of the East Coast. Now I’m based in the Midwest, discovering a whole new world of forests and hills.
