THE VIRGINIA BEACH ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES PROGRAM is a high school program serving junior and senior-year students. They were seeking assistance with creating a Career Planning website, as well as starting and growing their Instagram account. We developed and designed the green career and college research website to feature a career archetype system with accompanying quizzes and career option pages, a database of opportunities, and a historical heroes inspiration page. The logos, stories, and posts designed alongside the website incorporated cool blues and whites of the nearby ocean. Imagery featured the flora and fauna surrounding the program’s eco-friendly building. The website and social media page have since been used for lesson plans and experiential learning.
