THE COUNCIL FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT was a cross-sector coalition formed to advance a positive culture for youth in Bartholomew County, IN. I undertook the re-design the website during my time as the Communications & Community Impact Manager. The goal of the CYD website redesign was to create a more interactive, eye-catching, and professional interface that appeals to both youth and adults. Bright brand colors and spunky fonts were utilized to make visiting the website a more engaging experience. The star element, along with fun shapes throughout the site, reflect the joy CYD hopes to bring youth. The site has since had an increase in visitors, and the staff found that it was a much more user-friendly platform to navigate.
